MICHIGAN CENTRAL STATION RESTORATION

IFM Scope: IFM was privileged to play a pivotal role in the restoration of historic Michigan Central Station in Detroit. MCS is a signature Detroit landmark, and it was an honor to play such a large part in bringing it back to its former glory.

CRANBROOK TENNIS COMPLEX

IFM Scope: Design/build consisting of over 1000 lineal feet of custom-fabricated aluminum stadium railings with a low-gloss black powder coat finish, all of which were on a slope. The job consisted of a combination of fascia-mount and top-mount railings, and unique conditions and every direction change.

IFM Scope: Turnkey design/build of a challenging grand stair, at 60” wide with a mono-stringer as well as glass railings. This is a particularly challenging stair configuration, but one which we’ve built several times.

Powder coated aluminum awnings with custom stainless steel tiebacks and stainless steel clevises manufactured by IFM. Complete decorative metal gireplace surround in a hand-rubbed black oxide finish, with ¾” steel plat hearth, mantel, and crown plate.

IFM Scope: Extensive package of custom-fabricated aluminum guard rails with integral drink ledges, plus access gates and riser stair rails for the new Wayne State University basketball stadium. We also provide the street sign style posts for the aisle markers.

IFM Scope: Extensive stainless steel elevator jamb/surround package including custom cementicious paneling system on the main floor, plus an aged solid bronze elevator surround on the gallery level.

IVORY FARMS EXHIBITION BARN

IFM Scope: Decorative metal fireplace surrounds and range hood in a custom hand-rubbed black oxide finish over steel. Our scope also included custom louvered access doors and vent louvers for the HVAC unit above the fireplace, and a powder-coated aluminum lighting truss above the main entrance. Complete Juliet balcony with black stainless steel cable railing.
