IFM is home to a Direct Color Systems DTS-84 direct-to-substrate printer, the most advanced graphics printer on the market, and we are now taking on full signage scopes with excellent results. With the capability of printing up to 48” x 96”, this machine lays down UV-cured ink in 16 million colors, with the ability to apply raised letter printing and printing of ADA-compliant braille for signage.
The DTS-84 can print on a wide variety of substrates including metal, wood, glass, acrylic, DIBOND®, and much more. The machine can also use the contrast in a photo to apply texture to the image, resulting in dimensional prints that catch shadows and look more lifelike than anything you’ve ever seen!
And, since I.F. Metalworks is a decorative metals contractor, we’re working on pushing the limits of this machine and developing applications like printing of art-metal patinas.
