Waterjet Cutting

Waterjet cutting is a CNC process that uses water at 60,000+ psi to cut virtually anything, without heat. This makes waterjet processing an excellent choice for precision cutting of sensitive materials that may distort or be damaged by thermal cutting processes such as laser or plasma cutting. Waterjets also have the ability to cut thick materials with a degree of precision not possible with thermal cutting.

Our WARDjet E2040 has a cutting envelope of 2m x 4m x 280mm (80” x 155” x 11”), and it has become our preferred method of processing for all flat cutting work, especially aluminum and stainless steel; as it leaves a clean and scale-free cut edge.
